Day 2 - Palatine, Forum, Colosseum

What didn’t we see today? It began with a trip to the Palatine Hill where Rome was founded, according to tradition, by Romulus in 753 BC. Not only does the Palatine contain some fantastic ruins, what's left of the emperor Domitian's palace for example, but it also boasts some of the best views of the Forum Romanum, our second stop of the day. After exploring the Forum, we grabbed a bite to eat then toured THE site in all of Rome: the Colosseum. After taking in the Colosseum we walked over to the iconic Trevi fountain and ended a long day of walking with some down time relaxing at the Spanish steps.
