June 9: Arrival in Cádiz

Hola a todo el mundo , 

We are so happy to be in Cádiz! We arrived late last night after an adventure-filled journey. Students had their first Spanish cena at 23:30 and are still raving about how tasty it was. Today, the students began their classes, met Mundo Lengua teachers and staff, and settled into their new routine. We just returned from our afternoon cultural excursion, where we familiarized ourselves with the city of Cádiz and its historic center. We learned about Spain’s constitution, signed in 1812 in Cádiz, visited several important sites, and watched children playing soccer, Spain’s national pastime, in its several plazas.
