June 19: Cooking Paella

Our students had another full morning of classes and participated in their third “intercambio” with Spanish students. They are now quite famous in the instituto and are almost semi celebrities—everyone wants to speak to them!

In the evening we went to Foodie Cádiz and made paella, both vegetarian and with meat. Each student participated in the preparation. They were supervised by the “paella” team and soon felt like master chefs. Look out for your kitchens when your children return home—you may be eating lots of Spanish cuisine! We ended our meal with delicious ice cream and a fun and delicious time was had by all!
