In the morning, our Rivers students participated in yet another “intercambio “  with a new group of Spanish students. Our fame is growing, and everyone wants to meet us!!

This evening was flamenco night! We visited a flamenco club (“pena”) in the historic district. As we waited for the lesson to begin, one of our students grabbed a guitar, and an impromptu Zach Bryant sing-along broke out. Students were then put through their paces by our flamenco instructor, Ana, and I venture to say the kids were a quick study. Special shout-out to Liam, who bravely volunteered to dance alone with the instructor! That said, all the students had enthusiastic buy-in and did a fantastic job. After a short break, the group was treated to a “tablao”  flamenco beyond compare. Great way to end our final full day in Cádiz before finishing the trip with visits to Sevilla and Gibraltar.
